2022 Art Grants

The initial New York League of Arts Grant Program was aimed at funding of interactive, community-driven, collaborative works of art that were accessible to the public and civic in scope.

The art grant program was open to applications by the community for any New York City based artist/educator who was building art to be brought to Burning Man, building art for Decompression, or building art for BM-related events in NYC.

The 2022 letter of intent (LOI) was opened in February and a jury selected eight projects to present a full proposal for funding.
In May, a second jury convened and selected five projects to receive funding. Find out more about those honorarium projects below:
