2024 Art Grants

The 2024 New York League of Arts Honorarium Cycle received 13 submissions for art (digital, performance, sculpture, paint, etc) that is going to Burning Man, Regional Events, or will take place/be shared in the Greater NYC area for the local community. The funds offered during this cycle are remaining funds from 2022 NYC Burning Man Decompression.

Requests for volunteers for the committee and art submissions were shared with the community via social media, during events, and on our email list. A volunteer committee of 9 individuals was created and voted on the submissions. 11 grants, totaling $9,534, were then offered to honorarium submissions. Ultimately, 9 grants, totaling $7,784, were awarded to those who were able to submit the required paperwork. These grants were awarded to the following projects:
